What makes us Better Faster Special

Whether you are an adventure seeker or just an avid learner of new skills, at AdventureNow we strive to make each and every course and individual and enjoyable experience.

By completing a PADI course with us, you become part of the PADI family which will allow you to dive anywhere in the world and not just in the Netherlands! You might wonder… “Well… can I not just do my course abroad then in warm waters?” and of course you can. However, it is said that when you learn to dive in darker and colder waters, that you are automatically a better diver.

Diving is a life changing experience and we always make sure our students are satisfied, but more importantly, we put your safety at number one in every scenario.

For as long as I remember, the ocean has always attracted me. From racing my grandpa, canoeing, doing handstands underwater in the shallows, freediving, to collecting rocks that looked as if they had maps on them.

Somewhere in between an immense fear arose after being bitten by a fish. I would scan the waters while slowly walking in, which is an interesting story to have as a scuba diver.

In 2013 my parents walked me to the diving school in the holiday park we were staying and after doing a try dive I was hooked. In 2016 I discovered that the sport offered a great opportunity to travel abroad and work in the diving industry while trying to soak up some local knowledge through the people I would meet. And let me tell you, some people I met years ago while diving are considered to be some of my closest friends.

So yeah, 2016, I took the first step into my professional diving career by doing the PADI Divemaster course and soon after I participated in the ‘Instructor Development Course’ right here in the Netherlands!

Teaching people to scuba dive and experience this incredible underwater world is a passion, whether I do it in the Netherlands or somewhere where the sun shines a little bit longer and brighter. Despite my ‘level’ of diving, knowledge never overflows the cup, so even I want to learn more about scuba diving and my next steps are technical diving and learning how to teach scuba diving to people with a handicap.
